Nokia XR20 5G with Android 13 [Video]: New features demo & impressions - Nokiapoweruser

depolitikblog.blogspot.com

Nokia Mobile initiated the rollout of Android 13 update by bringing it to Nokia X20, Nokia X10, Nokia G50 and Nokia XR20 5G. We have used Android 13 on our Nokia XR20 5G for a few days now, post the upgrade installation. Time for new Android 13 features demo and our impressions of the new OS so far.

The Android 13 OS update brings some new features and visual changes, usability enhancements along with security and privacy improvements. Google has provided a list of these new features, changes and improvements in its official changelog. You can check the official changelog for smartphones below.

  • Android 13 comes with an evolved look and style that builds on Material You. You can customize non-Google apps to match your phone’s wallpaper theme and colors, making your home screen more cohesive and unique to your style.
  • For the many Android users who speak more than one language, we’ve added a top feature request. You can assign specific languages to individual apps so you can keep your phone’s system in one language, and each of your apps in a different language.
  • Android 13 features an updated media player that tailors its look and feel based on the music or podcast you’re listening to. For example, when you’re listening to music, the media player spotlights album artwork and has a playback bar that dances as you progress through a song. It even works for media played through Chrome.
  • Your wellbeing has been an important theme for Android – and getting enough sleep is key! Android 13 allows you to further customize Bedtime mode with wallpaper dimming and dark theme. These screen options help your eyes adjust to the dark when you’re about to go to bed – and get back to sleep if you wake up and check your phone in the middle of the night.
  • Gone are the days when you had to share your entire media library with your apps. In Android 13, you can select only the specific photos and videos they’ll need to access.
  • Prevent any unwanted access to your clipboard. If you copy sensitive data like your email address, phone number or login credentials on your device, Android will automatically clear your clipboard history after a period of time.
  • Android 13 helps keep your notifications under control and makes sure you only get the alerts you ask for. The apps you download will now need your explicit permission to send notifications, rather than being allowed to send notifications by default.
  • Feel like you’re in the middle of the action with Spatial Audio. On supported headphones that enable head tracking, Spatial Audio shifts the source of the sound to adapt with how you turn your head, giving you a more immersive listening experience on your Android phone or tablet.
  • Android 13 adopts Bluetooth Low Energy (LE) Audio, a new Bluetooth audio standard that results in lower latency than classic audio. This allows you to hear audio that’s in better sync with the sound’s source, reducing delay. With Bluetooth Low Energy (LE) Audio, you can also enjoy enhanced audio quality and broadcast audio to multiple devices at the same time.

Coming to our hands-on impressions so far, Android 13 on Nokia XR20 provides a polished experience. We didn’t face any performance degradation or freezes or random restarts. All the new features and changes also work flawlessly. Battery life has remained almost the same as compared to Android 12 or you may notice a slight improvement.

Watch our hands-on video of Android 13 on Nokia XR20 5G below.

WWE SmackDown Draws Best Viewership In Two Years, Key Demo Also Up for Final 2022 Episode, Averages for the Year - Wrestling Headlines

depolitikblog.blogspot.com

Friday’s live edition of WWE SmackDown drew an average of 2.629 million viewers on FOX, according to Nielsen, via Showbuzz Daily.

This final number is up 10.65% from the previous week’s final viewership of 2.376 million viewers for the taped episode.

Friday’s SmackDown drew a 0.64 rating in the key 18-49 demographic. This is up 16.36% from the previous week’s 0.55 rating. This past week’s 0.64 key demo rating represents 835,000 18-49 viewers, which is up 16.46% from the 717,000 18-49 viewers that the previous week’s 0.55 key demo rating drew, according to Wrestlenomics.

SmackDown ranked #1 in ratings for the key 18-49 demographic on network TV, even with the previous week’s #1 ranking, and the two weeks before that. SmackDown ranked #1 in the 18-34 demo this week, up from the previous week’s #1 ranking and the one week before that. SmackDown ranked #1 in the 25-54 demo, even with the previous week’s #1 ranking and the two weeks before that. SmackDown came in at #5 for the night in viewership on network TV, down from the previous week’s #4 ranking. While WWE SmackDown topped the day on network TV in the key demographic, S.W.A.T. on CBS topped the day on network TV in viewership with an average of 2.849 million viewers, also drawing a 0.24 key demo rating.

Friday’s SmackDown drew the highest total audience in two years. This was the highest total audience since December 25, 2020 and the highest key demo rating since January 21, 2022. The Christmas 2020 episode had an NFL as lead-in, which boosted viewership. Excepting that case, this is the highest total viewership for SmackDown since February 28, 2020, which came just before touring was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Additional cable sports competition on Friday included two College Football Bowl games on ESPN and the related programming, two Copa por Mexico Soccer games on TUDN, one Premier League Soccer game on USA Network, one La Riga Soccer game on ESPN Deportes, two NBA games on NBA-TV, one College Basketball game on ESPN2, one College Basketball game on Big Ten Network, and one College Hockey game on ESPN2. Friday’s SmackDown viewership was up 10.65% from the last FOX episode, and the key demo rating was up 16.36% from the last FOX episode.

Viewership for Friday’s SmackDown episode was up 595.5% from the same week in 2021, while Friday’s 18-49 key demo rating was up 700% from the same week in 2021. It should be noted that the 2021 episode was a Best Of episode that also aired on FS1 via cable, and not the regular broadcast TV airing. To compare to the final FOX episode of 2021, Friday’s SmackDown viewership was up 33.32% while the key demo rating was up 33.33%.

The SmackDown averages for 2022 are also in. SmackDown averaged 2.173 viewers per episode over 50 FOX episodes this year, not including the two FS1 airings. This is up 2.16% from the 2021 viewership average of 2.127 viewers per episode over 50 FOX episodes. SmackDown averaged a 0.53 18-49 key demo rating per episode over 50 FOX episodes in 2022. This is down 5.35% from the 2021 key demo rating of 0.56 per episode over 50 FOX episodes.

The College Football Orange Bowl game between Tennessee and Clemson on ESPN topped the day on the Cable Top 150 with a 2.00 key demo rating. The game also topped the night on cable in viewership with 8.590 million viewers. The Orange Bowl 11-minute Pre-show drew 7.138 million viewers for a 1.59 key demo rating to secure the #2 spot on the Cable Top 150, while the Orange Bowl 12-minute Post-show drew 6.166 million viewers for the #3 spot on the Cable Top 150.

Friday’s SmackDown aired live from the Amalie Arena in Tampa, FL, with the following line-up advertised ahead of time – Solo Sikoa vs. Sheamus, SmackDown Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey defending against Raquel Rodriguez, plus John Cena’s return to team with Kevin Owens vs. Sami Zayn and Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns, which was the main event.

Will Rahul Gandhi say sorry now? asks BJP, terms SC’s DeMo verdict historic - The Tribune India

New Delhi, January 2

Hailing the majority judgment of the Supreme Court upholding the constitutional validity of the government’s 2016 demonetisation move, the ruling BJP on Monday said note ban was the biggest blow to terrorism and asked former Congress chief Rahul Gandhi whether he would apologise for his anti-note ban campaign at home and abroad.

Leading the offensive against the Congress on the issue, which the ruling dispensation will most certainly revive at the hustings this year when nine states will go to polls, former minister and BJP spokesperson Ravi Shankar Prasad slammed Congress veteran P Chidambaram’s remarks on the dissenting judgment as “scandalous.”

“Mr Chidambaram chooses to stay silent on the majority judgment and terms the minority judgment a welcome slap on the wrist of the government even though the minority judgments calls note ban a well intentioned move. We condemn these remarks outright. These remarks are scandalous. We would also like to remind Mr Chidambaram of the golden principle that lawyers who argue matters in courts don’t conventionally comment on those matters publicly,” Prasad said questioning Chidambaram for commenting on demonetization in the court, in the Parliament and also outside.

Welcoming the judgment as one “in national interest”, Prasad said it vindicated the government stand that the decision was for a valid cause to remove fake currency, black money, prevent terror finding and money laundering.

“The constitution bench by a 5-1 verdict has upheld the constitutional validity of demonetization and rejected 58 petitions; held that the government had the right and the discretion to undertake economic policy decisions; and also held that the process of decision making was fair and reasonable and there was no violation of RBI Act’s section 26 (2). The central bank was consulted,” said Prasad.

He said even the dissenting judgment terms the decision well intentioned while arguing that it should have stemmed from the legislative route.

Earlier today Chidambaram said the minority judgment was a slap on the wrist of the government and a welcome slap at that.

Hitting back at the Congress the BJP said the Congress “in its own way promoted and protected informal economy elements in the country.”

Listing the benefits of note ban, Prasad said it was a pro-poor step as it removed leakages and promoted transparency.

“A storm was raised by the Congress about this issue. Rahul Gandhi spoke of demonetisation not just at home but also abroad.

He only understand when the court verdict comes. Will he now say sorry?” asked Prasad.

He said the Government always maintained that demonetisation was designed to subserve the interests of the poor and to clean up the economy.

“Transparency has increased after note ban. India became a world leader in digital transactions after note ban. Just in October 2016 India recorded a bumper harvest of digital transactions of 730 crore worth Rs 12 lakh crore,” the BJP leader said.

He said after demonetisation tax collections in 2017-18 rose 18 pc, 2,38,000 fake shell companies were detected caught and transactions stopped.

The informal sector involvement in economy fell from 52 to 20 pc, the BJP argued adding that “Note ban had done a great service to the cause of breaking the backbone of terrorism because financial support was over.”

“Demonetisation policy is the biggest blow to terrorism because terror funding is integral to terrorism. Rahul only understands when court verdict comes.

What all didn’t he said about the prime minister on the Rafale deal was highly unfortunate. But he went cold after the SC verdict on Rafale. Will Rahul Gandhi say sorry for his campaign against demonetisation ?” the BJP asked.
