HUDSON, Ohio - The co-owners of Hudson's Restaurant and Catering won't have to travel far for a cooking demonstration they are giving: It's at the Hudson Library & Historical Society on Tuesday, March 3.
Brothers Kevin and J.J. Altomare will demonstrate the art of corning (brining), cooking and slicing corned beef. The demo, in the library's presentation kitchen, is at 6:30 p.m. They will cook up Irish stew and boxty, a potato pancake.
The chefs - who attended the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York - operate the restaurant at 80 N. Main St. with their father, John.
