The Dare County website is now showing a total of 32 COVID-19 cases reported in the county, meaning that there have been six new cases reported today, on June 7. That makes 10 new cases reported in the past week. The county has not issued a detailed COVID-19 update since June 5, when there were 25 cases in total. This recent spike in reported infections comes about three weeks after the county was re-opened to visitors.
