
Six more Wyoming residents have died of complications related to the coronavirus, according to a Tuesday afternoon release from the Wyoming Department of Health (WDH).
All six were older adults who had tested positive for COVID-19. A man and woman from Converse County had been hospitalized and were residents at a long-term care facility, both with health conditions that put them at higher risk. An older adult Natrona County man was also hospitalized and a resident of a long-term care facility.
An older adult woman from Sheridan County also had been hospitalized with health conditions that put her at more serious risk of dying from the virus.
The other two residents who passed away were older men from Teton and Platte counties, both of whom had preexisting conditions that put them at risk, though neither had been hospitalized.

Deaths among Wyoming residents are added to the state’s coronavirus-related death total based on official death certificate information, according to WDH.
As of Tuesday afternoon, there have now been 93 coronavirus-related deaths and 12,399 lab-confirmed cases and an additional 2,108 probable cases reported since the pandemic began, per data provided by WDH. Of those residents, 9,310 have since recovered.
Campbell County Public Health is currently monitoring 697 lab-confirmed patients, 20 of which were diagnosed within the past 24 hours. Within the county, there have been 1,223 cumulative lab-confirmed cases and an additional 105 probables, with 565 total recoveries as of Tuesday.
