Mason County Public Health reported six new cases of COVID-19 in the County on Tuesday, November 17, 2020. There are now 67 active COVID-19 cases in Mason County with four people hospitalized (two in the County, two outside the County). Mason County’s rate per 100,000 during the prior two weeks (based on population of 64,980 and 94 new cases in the last 14 days) continues to rise, now at 145 – up from 142 which was reported on Monday.
The November 17th, 2020 – 4:00 p.m. news release says: “Since the last release (11/16/20), Mason County Public Health was notified of Six (6) additional Mason County residents that tested positive for COVID-19. This brings the total to Six Hundred and Eighty-Three (683) positive cases in Mason County.”
