As we do every week, here is a look at where Iowa stands in the Big Ten statistically after week six of the conference season.

Iowa is now 4-2 on the season as the Hawkeyes got the job done at home on Friday against Nebraska, 26-20.

Here is a look at the numbers.

Notable Individual Statistics

- Iowa quarterback Spencer Petras is averaging 189 passing yards per game, which is 9th amongst Big Ten starting quarterbacks. Petras' four touchdown passes are tied for 12th in the Big Ten and his quarterback rating is 12th (last) amongst quarterbacks that have played in 75 percent of the team's games and average 15 pass attempts per game.

- Iowa running back Tyler Goodson is averaging 94 rushing yards per game, which is ranked 3rd in the Big Ten. He is also third in the conference in carries per game with 18. His six rushing touchdowns are tied for 4th in the Big Ten. Mekhi Sargent is rushing for 54 yards per game, which is 14th in the Big Ten. - Iowa linebacker Nick Niemann is 2nd in the Big Ten in total tackles with 61. Fellow linebacker Seth Benson is 17th in the conference with 40 tackles.

- Iowa defensive tackle Daviyon Nixon leads the Big Ten in sacks with five. Chauncey Golston is tied in 3rd with four. Zach VanValkenburg is tied for 7th with 3.5.

- Nixon also leads the Big Ten in tackles for loss with 11.5. Golston is 4th with seven and VanValkenburg is tied for 5th with 6.5.

- Iowa safety Jack Koerner is tied for 4th in the Big Ten in interceptions with three. Cornerback Riley Moss and linebacker Barrington Wade are both tied for 7th with two.

- Iowa defensive back Dane Belton is tied for 5th in the conference with four passes broken up.

- Iowa wide receiver Charlie Jones leads the conference in yards per punt return with 12.93 and total return yards with 194.

- Iowa punter Tory Taylor is second in the Big Ten in average yards per punt with 45.11. That is the most amongst the punters that have played at least six games this season.
