HUDSON, Ohio – Charlie Denk of Stir Studio Kitchen will hold a live virtual cooking program on risotto on Monday, Feb. 1.
The event, which is at 7 p.m., will be held through the Hudson Library & Historical Society. Denk will demonstrate how to make risotto.
Stir Studio Kitchen hosts relaxed, hands-on cooking classes for individuals, groups and corporate teams. Denk recently expanded Stir, which started in 2019 on Lorain Avenue in Cleveland’s Ohio City neighborhood, to a second location on N. Main Street in Chagrin Falls two months ago.
Risotto, a classic Italian rice dish, is made with arborio rice and has a certain viscosity; it should not be runny and thin, nor should it be gloppy and gelatinous.
The free Zoom program will be recorded and available on the library’s Facebook and YouTube pages. Registration is required; participants will receive an email invitation to join. Call 330-653-6658, ext. 1010, or email askus@hudson.lib.oh.us.
