USC women's golf is sending an NCAA-best six golfers – featuring seniors Allisen Corpuz, Amelia Garvey and Alyaa Abdulghany, junior Malia Nam, sophomore Alexa Melton and freshman Brianna Navarrosa – to play in the 2021 Augusta National Women's Amateur set for March 31-April 3 in Augusta, Ga.

(Read this profile on USC's six golfers at the Augusta National Women's Amateur home page and this great breakdown in Golfweek.com.)

Beginning the week prior to the 85th Masters Tournament, the Trojan contingent will compete with an international field 82-strong that compete across 54 holes of stroke play, with a cut to 30 players taking place after 36 holes.

A complete list of the field is at ANWA.com. Click here for information on streaming and broadcast coverage. NBC will air live coverage on April 3 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. that will be simulcast at ANWA.com.

The first two rounds will take place on the Island and Bluff nines at Champions Retreat Golf Club on March 31 and Thursday, April 1. The entire field will then play Augusta National for an official practice round on April 2. The final round will take place at Augusta National on April 3 and will feature the competitors who made the cut.

Melton will be the first player to tee off, kicking off the tournament at 7:45 a.m. with Abdulghany at 9:24 a.m. and Corpuz at 11 a.m. Garvey is off at 11:33 a.m., Brianna Navarrosa at 12:06 p.m. and Nam at 12:39 p.m.

USC players will wear a ribbon this week to honor the daughter of longtime former head coach Chris Zambri, who recently passed away.

Corpuz and Abdulghany both played in the inaugural event (along with former Trojan Jennifer Chang) in 2019 while Corpuz, Garvey, Melton, Navarrosa and Nam were set to play in the 2020 event before its cancellation due to Covid. Melton was also set to play in 2019 but had to bow out due to an injury.

In 2019, Corpuz made the 36-hole cut at 3-over 147 (75-72) and ultimately tied for 17th at 3-over 219 (75-72-72).
