MISSISSAUGA, Ontario – Wood-Maxx says its Robertson-manufactured wood screws were developed for woodworkers and cabinetmakers “frustrated by the decreasing fastener industry quality standards.”
The zinc-coated screws feature a long Type 17 (T17) cutter for drilling into even the hardest of woods, Wood-Maxx says, adding that the T17 cutter eliminates the need to pre-drill into most species.
Other features of the Robertson screws include:
- Flathead with nibs, which aids in the countersinking of the screw;
- #2 Robertson square drive provides snug fir on original Robertson driver bits;
- Zinc wax coating reduces friction; and
- Transparent buckets and jars make it easy to monitor inventory levels.
