WWE 2K22, the most popular wrestling game now has a confirmed release date – 22nd March. The information regarding its release was made public during WrestleMania 37 that happened in April 2021. And initially, the game was set to release in the month of October this year. However, there was some change of plans, and now the game is releasing in March next year.
A teaser trailer was released during the WWE SummerSlam 2021, and the complete trailer is expected to come in January next year. The trailer shows a glimpse of the WWE 2K22 gameplay, and features several superstars including Goldberg, Rey Mysterio, Roman Reigns Bobby Lashley, Drew McIntyre, Finn Bálor, Shinsuke Nakamura, and Kane.
WWE 2K22: Gameplay
WWE 2K22 is expected to come along with completely revamped controls, the best graphics, and a new engine for offering the best WWE 2K experience that gamers would have ever got. For offering ultra-realistic and updated character models, 90% of the players present in the game have taken part in facial scanning. Further, this time we will be having 3,500 new animations.
Not much is known regarding the gameplay as of now. We will have to wait till January to get more details regarding the game and the gameplay. The predecessor of 2K22 was completely or flop. And because of poor graphics and broken gameplay, the game was heavily criticized by the gamers. So, let’s wait and see whether 2K22 will work on these aspects and release an improved version, or they will disappoint us again with their latest release.

WWE 2k22 is definitely going to release, but unfortunately, not this year. Developers announced during the SummerSlam 2021 that the game has a new release date – 22nd March 2022.
The game will release the staff till the end of WrestleMania when WWE craziness will be on all time. We hope the five-month extra will be a worth waiting period and we will have a great wrestling game in the form of WWE 2K22.
Now coming to the list of compatible devices, WWE 2K22 will be playable on PC PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series S/X.
WWE 2K22 Demo
The developers don’t go with releasing a demo version of WWE 2K20 that was launched back in 2019. However, NBA 2K21 released its demo version and experienced huge success in it. Therefore, it might be possible that we will have the WWE 2K22 demo version to try the game before its release.
Especially being critics’ favorite since last few years, the developers will look to release a demo version to give the hardcore WWE fans the access of playing the game even before its release.
