PHILADELPHIA - Senior Chris Donovan of the Drexel men's soccer team has been named the Philadelphia Soccer Six Player of the Week, announced by the organization on Tuesday.
Chris Donovan scored two goals to push his season total to 11 this past week. The senior forward scored a goal against NJIT on Tuesday and again in a must-win match against Northeastern on Saturday. Donovan is now second in the conference in goals and point total (24).
Drexel is gearing up for one of its most formidable opponents this year in James Madison. The Dragons will travel to Harrisonburg, Va. on Saturday, October 30, and face the Dukes at 7 p.m. The match can be seen on FloFC.
