PHILADELPHIA – Freshman Lars Haavie has been named Philadelphia Soccer Six Rookie of the Week, the organization announced. Haavie receives the honor after his performance against La Salle last week.
 
The Sandefjord, Norway native recorded two saves in a shutout win over the Explorers. The win was the first for the Hawks over their crosstown rival since the 2008 season. The victory also clinched a playoff spot in the Atlantic 10 Championship for St. Joe's, its first since 2013.
 
SJU is back in action on Saturday for the regular season finale at Fordham. The game serves as a difference maker for seeding in the Atlantic 10 Championship.
