Through a partnership with the Lowes Heroes Program, Beaufort County Schools was able to provide food pantries to six local schools. The cabinets will be used to ensure that each school has a secure food pantry to store backpack pals and weekend food for fragile students. Bright Futures, local churches and community partners will keep them full. The food pantries were delivered to the following schools by the BCS maintenance department: Bath Elementary, Beaufort County Early College High School, Eastern Elementary School, Northeast Elementary School. SW Snowden Elementary School and John Cotton Tayloe Elementary.
