TORONTO — Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced Monday he has tested positive for COVID-19 but is "feeling fine" and will continue to work remotely from home.

Trudeau said two of his children have COVID-19 and a test Monday revealed he has been infected as well.

The prime minister, who has received two vaccine shots and a booster shot, used a televised virtual news conference to denounce anti-vaccine protesters who filled Canada's capital to complain about COVID restrictions.

"Canadians were shocked and quite frankly disgusted by the behavior displayed by some people in our nation's capital," Trudeau said. "I want to be clear. We are not intimated by those who hurl insults and abuse at small businesses and steal from the homeless. We won't give in those who fly racist flags. We won't cave to those who engage in vandalism or dishonor the memory of our veterans."

Some demonstrators travelled in truck convoys and parked on the streets around Parliament Hill, blocking traffic — and a smaller but significant number remained on Monday.

Many Canadians were outraged by images over the weekend of some protesters urinating on the National War Memorial and dancing on the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, while a number carried signs and flags with swastikas.

Many refused to wear masks in hotels, malls and grocery stores and one homeless shelter reported protesters had demanded it feed them.

Canada has one of the world's highest rates of vaccination against the coronavirus — shots that are primarily designed to keep those who become infected from falling seriously ill.

Protest organizers have called for the elimination of all COVID-19 restrictions and vaccine mandates and for the removal of Trudeau, though he is responsible for very few of the restrictions, most of which were put in place by provincial governments.

The Ottawa police department has said it is investigating possible criminal charges over some actions during the protests.

"To those responsible for this behavior, it needs to stop. To anyone who joined the convoy but is rightly uncomfortable with the symbol of hatred and division on display, join with your fellow Canadians, be courageous and speak out. Do not stand for or with intolerance and hate," Trudeau said.

Some were protesting a rule that took effect Jan. 15 requiring truckers entering Canada to be fully immunized against the coronavirus. The United States has imposed the same requirement on truckers entering that country so Canada removing it would make little difference.

Some opposition Conservative lawmakers served coffee to the protesters and Conservative party leader Erin O'Toole met with some protesting truckers. The demonstration also attracted support from former U.S. President Donald Trump.

As more musicians pull their music from Spotify amidst the controversy surrounding Joe Rogan, listeners are contemplating making the jump to alternate streaming services. There are a few options available, the more obvious choices including Apple Music and Tidal, but Rivers Cuomo is adding his own self-made app to the mix: Weezify.

“Tired of Spotify” the Weezer frontman wrote on Twitter. “Come on over to Weezify.” The only catch with Cuomo’s venture is that when he created the app last year, he filled it with the more than 3,200 demos he recorded between 1975 and 2017 — and nothing else.

Similarly to Spotify’s interface, Weezify offers a number of curated playlists for users to follow, or they can create their own. The library of demos is split into 12 bundles broken down by era. For instance, there’s “Weezma,” which holds demos made with the California band Ozma between 2012 and 2014, and “Patrick & Rivers,” which boasts music created with Weezer drummer Patrick Wilson between 1991 and 2012.

The bundles cost $9 each to purchase and play through Weezify, less than a monthly subscription to Spotify. Weezify also appears to be an outgrowth of another tech project Cuomo launched in 2020, a digital marketplace where he was also selling bundles of old demos.

Weezify arrives as Weezer plot their new four-part seasonal album cycle. “Spring is kind of like happy chill. And then we move through to dance rock, like a Strokes-style album for the fall, and then sad acoustic, Elliott Smith-style for winter,” Cuomo told Good Morning America of the project which plans for a new release on the first day of each season throughout the year.

Developer IO Interactive has announced that it’s rolling out a new update for Hitman 3 on PC that fixes several of the issues PC players have been battling since Hitman 3 Year Two and Hitman Trilogy launched earlier this month.

The primary purpose of this update is to fix the stability issue players have been experiencing in Hitman 3 through Steam and the Epic Game Store. These issues cause crashes, dropped frames, and have generally made the game difficult to play for some time.

However, the update goes further, fixing the Steam demo of Hitman 3. When it launched, it was impossible for those who owned locations from Hitman 2016 and Hitman 2 to play them within the Hitman 3 Steam demo. The update fixes this so that all owned locations from previous games can be played with Hitman 3’s updates through the demo.

Finally, the update also allows anyone who buys Hitman 3 through Steam to get a free upgrade for the Deluxe Edition content or the Seven Deadly Sins expansion. This upgrade system was put into place by way of an apology from IO Interactive for the Steam launch of Hitman 3, both because it was buggy and full price when the game was discounted on other platforms.

HOUSEFUL Goes Ahead With Activities In Its Demo Buildings - Eurasia Review

The last months of 2021 were characterised by numerous activities in the Demo Buildings in El Mestres, San Quirze del Valles and Cambium.

The contribution of the HOUSEFUL project to the circular economy in the building sector is thus becoming ever more significant

Despite the challenges posed by the pandemic, a lot of progress has been made in the last months of 2021.

Firstly, at the end of last summer, the renovation of the demo building “El Mestres, Sabadell”, near Barcelona, was completed. This will now allow the implementation of an effective treatment for the reuse of rainwater and grey water. In particular, project partners AIGUASOL and Agencia de l’Habitatge de Catalunya have finalised the plan for the integration of the solutions, including both the recovery of grey rainwater for reuse in the nearby school and the treatment of black water and biological waste for biogas production.

Progress has been made at the demo building located in San Quirze del Valles too. Agencia de l’Habitatge de Catalunya developed the Executive project for the renovation of this building to ensure the improvement of energy efficiency through active and passive solutions and supported AIGUASOL in the development of the rainwater and grey water integration system.

This demo building was also the focus of an online workshop organised by Agencia de l’Habitatge de Catalunya and WE&B, with the participation of LEITAT and ITeC, to plan the implementation of three co-creation ideas. The workshop involved stakeholders from the neighbourhood, the local council and the region.

Following the local authorities’ approval for the installation of vertECO and the Homebiogas system in the Cambium community ecovillage in Fehring (Austria), where one of HOUSEFUL’s four demonstration buildings is located, the HOUSEFUL partner HOMEBIOGAS has worked on the production of the parts that will be used on it. These include: the digester, the cover/greenhouse, the insulation (earth, digester and pipe insulation), the additional gas bag, the condensation unit, the stove and stove cover, the sink cover, the heating mats, the sensors and the temperature controller. In addition, over the last six months, a new gas pipe has been developed and tested with the aim of reducing the amount of condensation water trapped in it.

Finally, AIGUASOL, in collaboration with ITeC and Agencia de l’Habitatge de Catalunya, worked on the holistic assessment of the energy performance of buildings after retrofitting with active and passive energy efficiency solutions. This holistic assessment aims to extend the benefits to tenants as a social engagement activity. To this end, AIGUASOL carried out simulations to predict energy consumption and greenhouse gas emission reduction.

Quantic Dream’s PS4 tech demo is reportedly coming to PS5 as ‘Dreamland’ - Video Games Chronicle

An insider who has proven to have knowledge of the development plans of French developer Quantic Dream has revealed new details about its next title.

Twitter user @accngt, who has recently released internal Quantic Dream materials early, such as tweeting a screenshot from Star Wars Eclipse before it was announced, posted an update on the game to their account.

Said to be based on the PS4 tech demo The Dark Sorcerer, the game, which is understood to be codenamed “Dreamland” is said to be based on “Interactive storytelling” and is being written by David Cage.

The game is also said to be “cross-gen” however @accngt speculates that this could change.

The Dark Sorcerer | E3 2013

The Dark Sorcerer tech demo was first revealed at E3 2013, months before the release of the PlayStation 4.

In the 12 minute clip, a wizard is seen casting dark magic, before it is revealed that the whole thing is taking place on a film set, and the demo devolves into a comedic sketch. Quantic Dream’s Detroit: Become Human also began life as a tech demo titled ‘Kara’.

Quantic Dream is also working on Star Wars Eclipse. In December, it was confirmed that Eclipse is set in the High Republic era. The game was announced during The Game Awards.

“Star Wars Eclipse is the first video game to be set in an uncharted region of the Outer Rim during The High Republic era, known as the golden age of the Jedi,” Quantic Dream said.

“The game will build upon Quantic Dream’s expertise in delivering deeply branching narratives and will go beyond their already established acclaim. Player’s choices will be at the heart of the experience, as every decision can have a dramatic impact on the course of the story.”

The first trailer shows off impressive visuals including footage of Yoda and the planet of Naboo.

Earlier this year Lucasfilm signalled that its Star Wars exclusivity deal with EA was over—or at least coming to an end—by partnering with Ubisoft on a new open-world game.

MIDLAND, Texas (KOSA) - Buffalo Bur’s Custom Cycles gave west Texans a chance to test out new bike models from a company called Pivot Cycles.

A reservation was required to sign up for a bike ride but walk-in appointments were available.

Most bikes cost about an average of 7 thousand dollars.

The owner of Buffalo Burs Custom Cycles says this is a great opportunity for folks who enjoy the outdoors to take advantage of this free service.

“Pivot’s is a brand located out of Tempe, Arizona. They are world-famous. They are a brand that travels the country and takes care of their dealers, so it’s a brand that we sell in shop. They will stop by usually once a year and come out and let our customers demo out their bikes, whether in Midland or Odessa, but they like to showcase all of what their products have to offer, said Stephanie Ledford, owner of Buffalo Bur’s Custom Cycles.

Pivot Cycles is expected to return next year for another demo day.

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – The excitement of Idemitsu Mazda MX-5 Cup presented by BFGoodrich® Tires racing at Daytona International Speedway was slowed by three lengthy full-course yellows on Friday.

But it was with Jared Thomas taking the win in round two of the championship as the race ended under a full-course caution.

Despite a slight drizzle, all of the 31 Mazda MX-5 Cup cars were able to start on slick BFGoodrich tires. Leading them to the green flag was the latest MX5-Cup Shootout winner, Connor Zilisch.

Zilisch had no problem holding the lead through the first lap, but by lap two, Thomas had made his way into the lead with Chris Nunes hot on his heels. That’s when the first of three full-course cautions came out for Michael Carter who made contact with the wall in NASCAR Turn Four.

On the restart, defending series champion Gresham Wagner moved into second and worked with Thomas to try and build a gap to the rest of the field. Making it to second so soon in the race was a remarkable accomplishment in itself for Wagner, who started 29th on the grid because of a crash in qualifying.

Thomas and Wagner didn’t even get a full lap of green flag before the full-course caution came out again, this time for a trio of cars that tangled at the entrance to the Bus Stop.  When the cars were cleared, the return to green was just as short as the first restart as two cars came together in Turn Three and were unable to continue.

Less than 10 minutes remained on the clock when the third full-course caution was issued, which wasn’t enough time to clear the cars in Turn Three in time for a restart.

It was sweet redemption for Thomas, who nearly won at Daytona last year, but missed out because of a late full-course yellow.

“This feels great,” said Thomas. “I think we built off the momentum that we had last year. And it feels good to get one here at Daytona. Because, for one, you know, I felt like I had one taken from me last year with the caution. So to win one under caution like that, I’ll take it you know, you win and some you lose some.

“You know I’m from Indiana, so the Indianapolis 500 is always supposed to be the biggest race for you. But as a kid, watching the Rolex 24 every year was the thing I always looked forward to the most. So to finally come here to the top step of the podium is just awesome. I just tried to use my experience as far as putting the car in the right position. You know, sticking inside the corner on a slick track. You never want to be on the outside, so I kept it kept it on the inside and it paid off.”

After a crash in qualifying, and a drive-through penalty in Race One, a runner-up finish was a win as far as Wagner was concerned. The qualifying crash meant that Wagner started the race from 29th on the grid. His charge to second place also earned him the Hard Charger Award, which comes with a $1,000 check for him and a $1,000 check for his crew chief.

Earning his first Mazda MX-5 Cup podium finish was young Joey Antanasio. The rookie came from 11th on the grid to third place and showed he was capable of a win had there been more green flag laps.

“I’ve got a lot of adrenaline running through me right now,” Antanasio said. “Yesterday in the rain I had a little trouble figuring out where the grip was, but today it was dry. I’m really proud of my team and my parents for helping me with all of this. I’m feeling great right now.

“When the first yellow came out, it was okay, but when two more came out it got a little frustrating.”

Antanasio was followed across the finish line by his teammate Chris Nunes who finished second in Thursday’s race.

Sam Paley, the 2021 Mazda MX-5 Cup Rookie of the Year, finished fifth.

Selin Rollan was third in Thursday night’s barn-burner finish, but made hard contact with the wall just after the finish line. Rollan went to a backup car for round two and started at the back of the field, but made his way up to sixth by the finish.

Album Review: Isaiah Rashad's 'Cilvia Demo' celebrates eighth anniversary - Tangerine

In late January 2014 indie record label and home of Kendrick Lamar, Top Dawg Entertainment, made the first of what they promised would be many releases throughout the year. “Cilvia Demo” was the first studio album from rookie Isaiah Rashad. Top Dawg Entertainment (TDE) has a small roster with an extremely high caliber of skill, which garners immediate excitement around the new artists they sign. The project received what Metacritic considers “universal acclaim” and earned Rashad his cult following that still holds the album in high esteem today, eight years after its release.

It is hard to imagine that two SZA assisted tracks back to back on a project could be bad and of course “Ronnie Drake” and “West Savannah” are no exception. The ladder’s airy beat and layering of Rashad and SZA’s vocals creates a depth that fills the space. This song has an energy and a feeling that is hard to achieve especially on a debut project. Throughout the project it is clear that Isaiah has an ear for beat selection and choosing producers who work well with his style. 

Upon its release in 2014 and today in 2022 there are few rappers who sound like Isaiah Rashad. The Chattanooga, Tennessee native is kept in a lane of his own due to his southern charm and effortless flows, which contain borderline jazzy beats, and are often far too upbeat for the lyrics that accompany them. “Heavenly Father ” is a prime example of a soulful, upbeat and down right groovy track with lyrics that address Rashad’s relationship, or lack thereof, with his father, mental health struggles, vices and an array of other serious topics. For those who relate or are doing a conscious listen, songs like this often stir up more emotions than sad lyrics that are delivered as such. Having a lackadaisical approach to serious trauma and pairing that with instrumentals that feel nostalgic, he has created the recipe for bringing baggage to the surface.

The project is able to maintain consistent themes and a cohesive flow while offering a wide variety throughout the 14 tracks. Midway through the project “Soliloquy” offers a no fluff look into Rashad’s rapping ability over a bass heavy rhythmic beat with jazzy pianos that Isaiah so naturally glides over. Packed with punchlines, double entendres and old school word play this introduces us to a more intense, less emotional Rashad.

“Banana” has a dynamic beat with unlisted supporting vocals from none other than TDE’s own SZA. The beat drop gives way to an angsty anthem that can only be likened to punk. “My daddy left me with no details, came back with a b**** and a stepson, I guess he forgot that he left somethin’, he must have been saving the best bum.” He echoes the holes left by his fathers absence with an intensity that has been building up within Rashad since his childhood and the album leading up to this point. This has left him striving for better for himself and hoping to do better for his own son, while he also addresses his own chagrin for the similarities he sees between himself and his father.

A strong display of old school lyricism and passionate storytelling paired with smooth instrumentals covered in unapologetic emotional delivery is what brings listeners back to listen to this album time and time again. Works that excel in so many aspects and offer such depth are those that last beyond the hype of their initial release. Rashad’s willingness to share his own emotions has allowed for him to become the cult superstar he is today and earned him his loyal following. The raw emotion is undeniable and is what makes his music feel relatable to so many people. The number one quality that attracts me to music I love is authenticity. Isaiah Rashad came out of the gates with the release of “Cilvia Demo” as his most authentic self willing to share his personal experiences and feelings as if his music was only going to be played in the solitude of his own company.

The demo will let players get experience with the game's new castle siege gameplay, as well as a feature that lets players customize their officers prior to battle.

The demo will give access to what Koei Tecmo calls a "challenging tutorial," which will let players navigate both offensive and defensive scenarios in the new castle siege gameplay. The two types of gameplay featured in the demo are Invasion Battles, which task players with capturing enemy castles, and Defensive Battles, where they must defend against an invading force.

Now Playing: Dynasty Warriors 9 Empires - Game-play Features Trailer

In a post on the PlayStation Blog, Koei Tecmo's Akihiro Suzuki also warms that the demo is set to a much higher difficulty than the final game, which will let players select their difficulty of choice. While the demo includes plenty of tutorial points, it promises to be a challenging introduction to Dynasty Warriors 9 Empires' new features.

When trying these demo battles, players can choose to play with one of the game's standard officers, or can use the edit mode to make their own officers for battle. Anyone who ends up buying the full version of the game on the same platform as they played the demo will also be able to transfer their custom officers into the final game.

Dynasty Warriors 9 Empires will release on February 15 on Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, PC via Steam, and Stadia, as well as on the PS4 and Xbox One.

Astroscale pauses debris-removal demo following anomaly - SpaceNews

TAMPA, Fla. — Astroscale said Jan. 26 it has paused an attempt to autonomously capture an in-orbit satellite for the first time after detecting “anomalous spacecraft conditions.”

The company’s 175-kilogram servicer spacecraft was preparing to make the attempt Jan. 25, after separating from a 17-kilogram client satellite acting as a piece of debris for a series of on-orbit demonstrations.

While the servicer had successfully used its magnetic mechanism to release and recapture the client in an Aug. 25 test, this demonstration aimed to use autonomous capabilities for a larger-scale mission.

However, Astroscale said the company detected an anomaly after the servicer began “autonomous relative navigation, maintaining a constant and safe distance from the client spacecraft over multiple orbits” as the company prepared for recapture.

“For the safety of the mission we have decided not to proceed with the capture attempt until the anomalies are resolved,” Astroscale said.

“Both spacecraft are operational and safely separated. We are in communication with agencies, regulators, space surveillance networks, and our orbital neighbors.”

The company added it still plans to continue the End-of-Life Services by Astroscale-demonstration (ELSA-d) and “will provide an update as soon as possible.”

In addition to being autonomous, this mission aimed to recapture the client spacecraft after releasing it to a much greater distance than the August test, while employing full-scale rendezvous and proximity operations for the first time.

The servicer and client were separated by a few centimeters for the August demo. Astroscale confirmed the servicer is currently tens of meters from the servicer.

Astroscale’s August test demo was a manual capture, a few centimetres of separation. With the start of this autonomous demonstration, Astroscale confirm successful separation of tens of metres and the Servicer held home position.

The satellites have been in low Earth orbit since they were launched together on a Soyuz rocket March 22. Astroscale plans to initiate a controlled de-orbit phase after completing ELSA-d ’s main demonstration elements.

While the Dynasty Warriors franchise is known for its electrifying 1 vs. 1,000 musou action, Dynasty Warriors 9 Empires adds some more strategic and tactical elements to the gameplay, forcing gamers to not only outfight their enemies, but to outthink them on the battlefield. And while the full game launches February 15, the free demo is available for everyone to download right now on both the PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4!

I’m excited for fans in the West to finally get a chance to play Empires and experience the thrill of the evolved castle sieges we’ve added to the gameplay. We’ve been working hard on this title the past few years, so to make sure everyone gets the most out of the demo, I wanted to take the time to breakdown what you can expect, as well as provide some quick combat tips to help your training.

The demo features both Invasion Battles, where you must capture enemy castles, and Defensive Battles, where you must defend your castle from invaders. But watch out, the Castle Sieges in this demo are set to a higher difficulty level than in the final version of the game (where you can set the difficulty to your liking), so there is definitely a learning curve, whether you’re on the offensive or defensive side of the attack. Don’t worry, though, as we’ve included tutorials throughout the demo to help every virtual warlord out there come to grips with the new features as quickly as possible.

Speaking of warlords, the demo stages can be played with a selection of familiar officers from the Dynasty Warriors series or with a Custom Officer of your own creation! Edit Mode, a staple part of the Empires entries, will allow you to create your own officer, with a wide range of in-depth customisation options available. Custom Officers that are made in this demo can be carried over to the full game at launch, so I hope you enjoy creating your dream characters and taking them into battle. Whether you’re creating a historical figure, a celebrity, or even just yourself, I am certainly excited to see what creations the community comes up with and can’t wait for everyone to share pictures of their favorite officers on social media.

But before you storm Twitter with pics, it’s time to storm the battlefield! To help in your first attack, check out these helpful hints …

Catapult to Greatness

Catapult Bases will be set up across the battlefield, and it’s important to seize these locations as soon as possible. These bases will automatically attack the other enemy bases on the map, so prioritizing their acquisition will give you an advantage at overthrowing opposing forces.

Ability to Lead

Make the most of the Accompany and Secret Plan abilities in battle. Approaching an allied officer on the battlefield and selecting the Accompany command from the D-Pad will make your Military Unit change to the accompanying officer’s. They will also come equipped with their own Secret Plans that you can take advantage of, such as the ranged Incinerate attack (fire!) or the Make Camp ability (which recovers health). When battling enemy officers, be sure to use an accompanying unit with an advantageous Army Affinity to put the odds in your favor. Each unit type has its strengths and weaknesses (Infantry > Cavalry > Archer > Infantry), so make sure to keep this in mind.

Fight Smarter, Not Harder

I know it might sound stupid to say, but some people just need to hear it: Try not to attack an enemy base with a high concentration of enemy forces! Not only will the area take much longer to capture, but it will also negatively affect other battle situations as allied bases might be overrun behind your back. Instead, focus on attacking areas with weaker enemy military strength, and controlling more of the battlefield. This will help flip the battle situation in your favor, which is key to victory.

Charge!

Make the most of Trigger Attacks and Guard Counters. Trigger Attacks allow you to send even the most powerful enemies flying into the air, and charging these attacks will drastically increase their power. When guarding against attacks, the Reactive Attack marker will appear, allowing you to perform a Guard Counter. Doing so will greatly reduce the enemy’s break gauge. Charging up Trigger Attacks and using Guard Counters will be more effective than repeatedly pushing the attack button. 

So there you have it. Time to storm the castle and see what you’re made of. These tips, alongside the in-game tutorial, should give you everything you need to become a powerful force out on the battlefield. Remember, in Empires, it’s not just about being faster with the sword, as you’ll have to implement sound strategy to ultimately be successful (although it never hurts to have a quick sword as well). That combination of might and mind is where you’ll find your place as the one true ruler of the land.

The metal world’s fascination with demos borders in some quarters on obsession—specifically the sort a band releases before their first full-length release. It’s easy to see why many fans pay them so much mind, given how in hindsight a demo can represent a band at their rawest form before they either progressed or blundered to a stage that's no longer appealing. That said, early demos might be more representative of ideas and energy not yet properly harnessed or executed amateurishly. It’s all comparable to the often romanticized (or cringing in memory of) innocent actions of childhood.

One such demo, whose fortune as a precursor to glory or a brief explosion of energy is yet untold, is being released this year by Nevada upstarts Sorcerer's Sword on the almost-just-as-new label Mythic Ironworks. Found within is a torrent of black thrashing madness that leaps and lashes out at the listener, a denim and leather infused witch’s brew mixing early thrash metal, speed metal, and first wave black metal that screams forth with 1980s vibes. It's the sort of Fenriz-approved, head-down, invisible orange-[Editor's Note: I couldn't stop him.]-holding fist-in-the-air metal that reeks with the smell of puke and cheap beer filling a basement venue while heshers headbang. It’s raw and ugly, but it conveys enough genuine talent that I certainly hope this won't be just a flash in the pan.

Mythic Ironworks' label owner Ryan Tysinger had this to say about the demo:

What I liked about the demo was how timeless it feels–it could be from anywhere from 1987 to now. There’s a reverence to the past, of course, but it’s played with a raw, unbridled intensity that can’t simply be cloned. A perfect release for how our roster is shaping up and what we’re trying to highlight with Mythic Ironworks.

The team behind the fan-made Dark Souls sequel, Dark Souls Nightfall, has released a playable demo for it - the Dark Souls Nightfall Demo V 1.2.

We’ve covered this rather amazing project on various occasions over the past few years, and although the release of the final version of this mod has been delayed several times, we’re happy to share that a playable demo has been made available for those interested. Nightfall is a direct fan-made sequel to the first Dark Souls and offers a new story, new characters, and new bosses, alongside a new world map. In addition, combat in Nightfall is faster-paced, against a mixture of familiar and unfamiliar foes, with new side-quests and newly voiced NPCs.

“We were originally targeting a release date of December 21, 2021, and then January 21, 2022, but after events at the end of last year, we decided to instead focus on releasing a demo on January 21 and delaying the full release until after Elden Ring”, the team behind the project writes.

The Dark Souls Nightfall demo (version 1.2) can be downloaded through here. Be sure to follow the installation instructions (which are quite easy to follow):

Unzip the downloaded file, run the. EXE file, point to your game executable, and press 1 to install. As you might have guessed, you’ll need to original Dark Souls game in order to play this demo, and this only works with the PC version.

You can't keep the Game Boy down, with the humble handheld still getting used for various projects while its game library also grows. A small number of dedicated developers and publishers embrace the challenge of working with the system, and now you can sample one particular upcoming release - The Machine.

Announced last year, it's a dystopian tale in which an early aptitude test determines your fate and career prospects, kind of like the 11+ test in some British schools but turned up to... well, 11.

This world is hierarchical.

It has always been – the powerful few atop the masses – but here, we embrace this infallible truth fully. In our society, we can find your place in the world with a simple test; we can determine where you fall into society with unprecedented efficiency, and we can put you there to ensure you may reach your full potential, however high or low that potential may be.

This is what is good for the machine.

In The Machine, you’ll have the opportunity to pursue numerous different storyline paths in an original dystopian world, experiencing each playthrough as a factory worker, a police officer, or more. Explore the inner workings of a gigantic machine and the people who inhabit it in the throes of an election that could dramatically shape the future. The Machine is a nonlinear experience with many endings depending on the choices you make, and will be playable on Game Boy, Game Boy Color, and Game Boy Advance consoles.

The game now has a new website that has a link for pre-orders - right now the page shows as 'sold out' but worry not, as orders aren't due to open until 16th February. In addition you can play a demo in your browser, which will give you a taste for the tone and gameplay approach.

Chip and Joanna Gaines have been entertaining fans for many years with Fixer Upper, the home renovation show. With Magnolia Network launching on cable, some viewers are just getting to see the new episodes of Fixer Upper: Welcome Home. In one of the recent episodes that aired, Chip announced that he no longer calls demo day a demo day and prefers something more “mature.”

Fixer Upper saw many home renovations throughout its five-season run on HGTV. Chip and Joanna made an excellent team as he was the contractor and she was the interior designer. The couple made a lot of couples around their hometown of Waco, Texas really happy with their transformations. With the reboot on the Magnolia Network, some things have changed and Chip is no longer calling demo day, demo day.

“We’re about to get this project started. Chip is going to get in there and make a mess,” Joanna said in a clip shared by Magnolia Network’s Instagram account.

Chip interjected and added, “Start a project off right is the way I refer to it. In my younger days, I’d call it demo day. But now, I just like — now it’s getting a project started off correctly and accurately.”

“You’re so mature these days,” Joanna added.

“I’m going to get a shirt that says hashtag, appropriately, accurately, and destructively, or something like that,” Chip jokingly suggested. “Or you can just say demo day.”

It’s clear that Chip thoroughly enjoys demo day as he likes to smash things up to get ready to clear everything up. Fans enjoy watching Chip have the time of his life on Fixer Upper: Welcome Home and it wasn’t long before viewers shared their thoughts on the Instagram post.

“I forgot how much I love Chip! Glad to see the Gaines family again,” a viewer said.

“It’s always going to be ‘demo day’!!! You coined that phrase,” a fan added.

“I wish I could afford for them to appropriately, accurately and destructively redo my home!! Lol,” an Instagram user joked.

“Legit, I only watch this show for Chip. He’s the GOAT. Always entertaining and relatable,” another viewer mentioned.

‘Fixer Upper: Welcome Home’ might only have one season

Although Fixer Upper: Welcome Home is a staple of the Magnolia Network now, it might only have one season. Chip and Joanna explained that when they signed up to manage their own network, they didn’t believe they would be in front of the cameras again.

“The requirement for Jo and I to be on air, even one hour, would be one hour too many,” Chip told Adweek in 2021.

Joanna added, “We felt like even if it’s just this one season, we need a nod back to the past, getting back to our roots and do what we love doing, which is on camera, renovating houses for people.”

Fixer Upper: Welcome Home airs Wednesdays at 9 p.m. ET on Magnolia Network.

How to download and install Dark Souls Nightfall Demo - Gamepur

Dark Souls: Remastered Nightfall is a popular mod that is being developed by Grimruhk along with various other developers. So far, a demo for the mod has been released and it is ready to go with new enemies, bosses, and game mechanics that are sure to make you rethink how you’ve been playing Dark Souls. Before you can play the game, however, you will first need to get around the lengthy install process. Here is how you can download the Dark Souls Nightfall Demo.

Downloading the mod

Grimruhk has been hard-at-work for months on creating the highly anticipated mod for the infamous Souls game. They have added a link to their website that will allow you to download the mod. The download size is currently around 1.3GB so it shouldn’t take you long to download it. The mod will also be available on Nexus Mods on a future date. It has currently been taken down for the time being.

Running the installer

Once you have the file downloaded, you will need to unzip the file. Extracting the file is simple as long as you have a program for it. Right-click on the downloaded file and select extract to begin the process. You can either extract the files and place them in a new folder or choose an existing folder. It is best to choose a new folder so you can easily locate the new files. Before going any further, make sure you are offline before installing and running the mod.

Now that the files are downloaded, run the NightfallMod.exe file. Press the enter key and you will be prompted to select your DarkSouls.exe file. If you downloaded Dark Souls from Steam, you can find the file by going to the SteamApps folder and then selecting the Common folder. Inside the Common folder, find Dark Souls Remastered. Once in the Dark Souls Folder, locate the DarkSoulsRemastered.exe file. Select this file to initiate the installation for the Nightfall Demo.

After a few seconds, you should receive a prompt on the screen to install the Nightfall Demo. Press the 1 key to initiate the installation. After a few seconds, the game demo should be installed and ready to play. Launch Dark Souls Remastered and welcome the new Nightfall menu.

Account-based marketing is having its moment as B2B marketers are jumping on the idea of orchestrating outreach to their most valued accounts. ABM enables marketers to focus their efforts on accounts with the greatest ROI potential through insightful and personalized marketing programs.

But how do you make sure you are choosing the right platform for your organization?

For starters, once you have determined that ABM software makes sense for your business, spend time researching individual vendors and their capabilities by doing the following:

• Make a list of all the ABM capabilities you currently have, those that you would like to have and those that you can’t live without. This last category is critical, and will help you avoid making a costly mistake. For example, if enriching your ICPs with deeper technographic data is important, be sure to ask about it during vendor interviews and demos. If you find that one vendor doesn’t offer this “must-have” capability, it’s obviously not a fit.
• Take your list of capabilities and then do some research. Speak to your marketing peers to find out who is using which ABM tool and why.
• Narrow your list down to those vendors that meet your criteria. Submit your list of the ABM capabilities you’ve identified, and set a timeframe for them to reply.
• Decide whether or not you need to engage in a formal RFI/RFP process. This is an individual preference, however be sure to give the same list of capabilities to each vendor to facilitate comparison.

• Does the tool show where visitors came from (channel or campaign)?
• Does the tool track website visitor actions (i.e., clicks and content views)?

‘Young Sheldon’ Wins Thursday Demo & Audience As CBS Comedies Mark Season Highs - Deadline

The latest Thursday primetime ratings tally isn’t looking all too different from the previous one as CBS continues to dominate the night in both demo and audience.

The network’s comedy slate continues to prove a winner as Young Sheldon nabs yet another primetime win. Per fast affiliates, Young Sheldon earned a 0.8 rating in the 18-49 demo. and 7.76 million viewers. Thursday’s performance marked Young Sheldon season highs. Before the New Year, Young Sheldon would typically lose out to Fox broadcasts of Thursday Night Football and lead the non-sports programs. But so far in 2022, Thursday’s primetime belongs solely to Young Sheldon.

The rest of CBS’ comedy slate, including newcomer Ghosts (0.7,6.55M) saw season highs. The supernatural comedy starring Utkarsh Ambudkar and Rose McIver went from falling in Law & Order: SVU‘s shadow in is first weeks, to now out-performing the long-running NBC series. United States of Al (0.5, 5.37M), steady in demo rating, saw audience highs for this season. The same was true for B Positive (0.5, 4.88M). CBS brought it home with Bull (0.4, 4.48M), which will end with its current sixth season.

Over at ABC, Women of the Movement (0.3, 2.81M) came to a close, down from its premiere earlier in January (0.4, 2.97M). Women of the Movement, which marked the ABC’s best Thursday title, was followed by the finale of Let The World See (0.3, 2.13) which was also down.

NBC peaked with Law & Order: SVU (0.6, 4.18M), which aired after The Blacklist (0.4, 3.30M). NBC’s night ended with Law & Order: Organized Crime (0.5, 3.13M). All titles were steady in the 18-49 demo.

Fox’s Thursday touted Joe Millionaire: For Richer or Poorer (0.3, 1.64M), which was pretty much stable from the previous week. Call Me Kat (0.3, 1.60M) and Pivoting (0.3, 1.07M) returned, with the latter climbing up one tenth in the demo and surpassing the one million viewers mark.

The CW saw Walker (0.1, 1.11M) rise from the previous week to also breach 1 million viewers with its latest episode. Thursday’s installment was the series’ highest audience since its finale in July 2021.
