Bandai Namco is giving fans a taste of what's to come for Tekken 8 starting today. Those who own a PlayStation 5 can hop on and download the new Tekken 8 demo to get some time in with the game before it officially launches next month.
Xbox Series X|S and Steam users will have to wait until December 21 to gain access to the demo, but fortunately we've seen a lot of new content for the game uploaded online this past week, which should help to tide folks over. Right now, though, let's get into what all the Tekken 8 demo comes packed with.
If you're hoping to get some online play in this time around like we did with the previous beta tests, unfortunately, I have bad news. There are no online modes accessible within this demo, but there is quite a bit to sink your teeth into.
The Tekken 8 demo comes equipped with a glimpse at five different modes, including a standard offline versus mode and a small portion of the game's main story mode.
Below is a full list of modes and features in the Tekken 8 demo:

Story: The Dark Awakens - play through the first chapter of Tekken 8's story mode.
Arcade Quest - Progress through an exciting story set in game arcades with you as the main character while learning about Tekken 8 battles.
Player vs. Player - standard offline versus between two human opponents.
Player vs. CPU - standard offline versus against a CPU controlled opponent.
Gallery - a collection of artwork and assets from Tekken 8.

• Urban Square (Evening)
• Yakushima
• Sanctum
The Tekken 8 demo comes in at around a 23.70 GB file size on PlayStation 5.
Important note: If you are struggling to find the Tekken 8 demo in the PS Store on your PlayStation 5, these instructions might help you. First, you'll want to search for the game in the PS Store.
From there, click on Tekken 8, then click on the three little dots icon under the game's name. Select "View Product," then click on the same three little dots icon this time next to the button for "Wishlist."
Once you do that, you'll see "Demo" come up in the list of options. Select it and you'll be able to start your Tekken 8 demo download.
