You’ve probably seen them on the slopes, but now’s your chance to give them a try.
Sierra-at-Tahoe is hosting a demo day for ski bikes this weekend and those interested can ride them for free.
The Demo-Worx Ski Bike Demo Day will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 8, at the resort about 15-20 minutes outside of South Lake Tahoe.
The bikes are said to have a quick learning curve and are a great option for those with physical handicaps or have limited strength from age or injury.
Demo-Worx will have ski bikes from Tngnt Ski Bike available for demonstration, and are encouraging otehrs with bikes to come ride together.
Each participant must purchase a lift ticket or have a season pass.
Kids under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Those interested should meet at Solstice Plaza.
