Update, May 28:  If launch takes place on May 30 at 3:22 pm ET, this event will be in the morning of May 31 at a time TBD.

Update, May 27, 5:15 pm ET:  The launch was scrubbed due to weather.  They will try again on Saturday, May 30, at 3:22 pm ET.  Whether this event will be postponed or cancelled is TBD.  Check back later.

Original Entry: The crew of the SpaceX Demo-2 mission, Bob Behnken and Doug Hurley, will hold an event at 7:20 am ET on May 28, 2020 from their Crew Dragon before docking with the International Space Station at 11:39 am ET.

The full schedule of NASA events on May 28 for the Demo-2 mission is as follows:

Thursday, May 28

  • 7:20 a.m. – Astronaut downlink event from Crew Dragon
  • 11:39 a.m. – Docking
  • 1:55 p.m. – Hatch Open
  • 2:25 p.m. – Welcome ceremony
  • 4:15 p.m. – Post-Arrival News Conference at Johnson
    • Administrator Bridenstine
    • Mark Geyer, director, NASA’s Johnson Space Center
    • NASA Chief Astronaut Pat Forrester
