Verizon Wireless is planning to boost service in a busy section of the area.
Last month, the Falls Township Board of Supervisors approved Verizon Wireless to install six panel-style antennas on top of the 14-story Sheraton Hotel along Oxford Valley Road.
The antennas will be posted on three of the four corners of the hotel, officials for Verizon Wireless said.
The new antennas will improve Verizon Wireless service in the area, which includes numerous shopping centers, Route 1, Jefferson Bucks Hospital, Sesame Place, and the Oxford Valley Mall.
The new antennas will be covered in a mylar adhesive coating to “mimic the sky” and make it barely visible from the ground, officials said.
