Six Flags Entertainment Corp. has named Selim Bassoul as its chief executive officer, the theme-park company said Monday.
Mr. Bassoul was previously Six Flags' non-executive board chairman. He replaces Michael Spanos, who stepped down after two years as CEO.
Ben Baldanza, a Six Flags board member, will succeed Mr. Bassoul as non-executive chairman.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Bassoul was the CEO and chairman of Middleby Corp., an appliance manufacturer.
Mr. Baldanza is a former CEO of Spirit Airlines Inc.
