Outriders Reveals PC System Requirements Ahead Of February Demo - Screen Rant

depolitikblog.blogspot.com

The PC system requirements of Outriders have been revealed by developer People Can Fly in a new video. Outriders was just recently meant to release next month but the game was delayed for a third time last week and will now release sometime in April. To make up for this extra delay, the game will be getting a free demo on available on February 25, 2021, which will give players access to the first few hours of the game and provide a glimpse of what they can expect for the rest of it.

With the looter-shooter genre dominated by games such as Destiny 2, the folks at People Can Fly are taking a different approach with Outriders. Rather than creating another live-service game with content updates that players will have to wait for, the end-game of Outriders will feature several Expeditions that will all be available to unlock from launch. The game will also feature a World Tier system similar to Genshin Impact where enemies become more difficult the higher the tier. Notably, People Can Fly is also making Outriders incredibly accessible by including crossplay across all the platforms it will be available on.

People Can Fly revealed Outrider’s PC system requirements in a new video that puts a spotlight on the game’s features and details on PC. The system requirements segment of the video listed the game’s Minimum, Recommended, and Ultra system requirements, although the required processor and graphics card were not listed under the Ultra column. According to the developers, the target for the published PC system requirements is to hit a minimum of 60 FPS with the hardware that was listed, at the settings prescribed.

Firstly, the Minimum system requirements were constructed with the game’s Low graphical presets running at 720p resolution. It lists an Intel Core i5-3470 or an AMD FX-8350 for the processor and either an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750Ti or AMD Radeon R9 270X graphics card, all of which are over half a decade old. This should make the game pretty accessible to a lot of people. The Minimum column also lists a requirement of 8GB of RAM or system memory.

Next, the Recommended system requirements were created with High settings and 1080p resolution in mind, listing an Intel Core i7-7700 or AMD Ryzen 5 1600 as well as an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 or an AMD Radeon RX 480. As previously mentioned, the Ultra column of the system requirements does not list a required processor or graphics card but it does mention needing 16GB of system memory, which is consistent with the Recommended system requirements. Lastly, it looks like the game will be below 70GB in size as all the columns list 70GB of storage space as a requirement.

In spite of its delays, Outriders is shaping up to be an interesting take on the looter-shooter genre and hopefully the game’s continued delays only mean it’ll release without much issue, unlike the disastrous launch of Cyberpunk 2077.
